Virginia Tech provides the XpressConnect service to simplify connecting to eduroam at Virginia Tech. When a student, faculty, or staff connects a wireless-enabled device to the campus network for the first time, the Cloudpath XpressConnect wizard will provide steps to authenticate the user, configure the device, and quickly connect to the secure eduroam wireless network; after the device's initial configuration and connection, each subsequent connection to eduroam will be automatically authenticated and connected.
