Unable to View an Archived LISTSERV List Online

Question:
I am the owner of a LISTSERV list. I cannot view my list archive online. How can I enable online viewing of my list archive?

Answer:
Send an email message to listmaster@vt.edu requesting that your list be archived. In the body of your message, include the following:
  • The name of your list.
  • Your online viewing preference. Choose one of the following:
    • Make your list viewable to the public. A link to your list's archives will appear on the LISTSERV archive page.
    • Make your list viewable but confidential. Your archives will only be available to those who type in your list's name on the LISTSERV archive page.

    Note: Once the listmaster makes the necessary changes, your list's archives will be available after midnight the following business day.

To view your list's archive:
  • If your list is viewable to the public:
    1. Go to the LISTSERV Archives at LISTSERV.VT.EDU page (http://listserv.vt.edu/archives/).
    2. Click the link for your list.
  • If your list is confidential:
    1. Go to the LISTSERV Archives at LISTSERV.VT.EDU page (http://listserv.vt.edu/archives/).
    2. At the right of the page, under Access Unlisted Lists, in the text box, type your list's name.
    3. Click the Search button.
