Monitor Turns On, but Computer Will Not Start

Question:
My monitor will turn on, but my computer will not start. What should I do?

Answer:
  1. Verify that all devices are powered off.
  2. Unplug your computer's power cord.
  3. Wait one minute.
  4. Reconnect your computer's power cord.
  5. Start your computer.
