The minimize and maximize buttons, or the toolbars, no longer appear in Microsoft Word or Excel 2003/2004/2007/2008/2010/2011. How do I make the buttons and toolbars appear again?

Answer:

  • In Microsoft Word or Excel 2003/20072010, press the Esc key.
  • In Microsoft Word or Excel 2004/2008/2011, press the esc key.
