The settings to access Virginia Tech Google Mail are:
- Username: [your PID]@vt.edu
Note: Replace [your PID] with your PID.
- Password: your Google Services password
Important: This is not the same as your PID password. You created the Google Services password when transitioning your Virginia Tech mail to a Virginia Tech Google Services account.
- Incoming server: imap.gmail.com
- Incoming server uses SSL on port 993.
- Outgoing SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
- Outgoing server uses SSL on port 465 or, in some cases, port 587.
