Transitioning Your VT Mail Email Account to a Virginia Tech Google Apps Mail Account

Question:

How do I transition my VT Mail email account to my VT Google Apps Mail account?

Answer:

Go to the My Accounts Web page.
If you are prompted to log on with the Central Authentication Service Web page:
1. In the Username text box, type your Virginia Tech PID.
2. In the Password text box, type your PID password.
3. Click the Login button.
Beside You may now use VT Google Apps for e-mail., click Activate account.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transition.

Notes:
- You have successfully created your account. You can log on to your account with your PID and Google password by going to the VT Google Apps Portal(http://start.google.vt.edu/).
