Deleting VT-Wireless Certificates in Windows XP/Vista/7

Question:
How do I update to a new VT-Wireless certificate and delete my old certificate in Windows XP/Vista/7?

Answer:
To continue using the VT-Wireless wireless network after your certificate expires, delete your old certificate and install a new certificate. To do this:
  1. Delete all old certificates.
    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Start the certificate manager utility.
      • In Windows XP:
        1. Select Run...
        2. Type: certmgr.msc
        3. Click OK.
      • In Windows Vista:
        1. The cursor will automatically be placed in the Start Search text box.
        2. In the Start Search text box, type: certmgr.msc
        3. Press the Enter key.
        4. Click the Continue button.
      • In Windows 7:
        1. The cursor will automatically be placed in the Search programs and files... text box.
        2. In the Search programs and files... text box, type: certmgr.msc
        3. Press the Enter key.
    3. In the left column, select the Personal folder.
    4. Double-click the Certificates folder.
    5. Locate any certificates for which the Issued To field shows your PID and for which the Issued By field shows Research and Development Network Access CA.
    6. For these certificates, look at the Expiration Date field to determine which certificates are about to expire or have expired.
    7. Delete the certificate(s) that meet the above criteria. To do this:
      1. Right-click the certificate.
      2. Select Delete.

      Important: Do not delete any certificate that is not expired and that you intend to use.
