- How do I add my Teaching Assistant or Instructor to my Scholar course?
- Answer:

- In the left column, click on the Site Editor.
- On the Site Editor menu bar, click on the Add Participants link.
- Add participants:
- To add a Teaching Assistant or Instructor from Virginia Tech, type their PID or e-mail address in the Virginia Tech Participants box.
- To add a Teaching Assistant or Instructor not from Virginia Tech, type their e-mail address in the Non-Virginia Tech Participants box.
- Select either the Assign all participants to the same role or the Assign each participant a role individually radio button.
- Choose one of the following:
- To continue adding these participants, click on the Continue button.
- To return to the previous page without making changes, click on the Back button.
- To return to the Site Editor page without creating new participants, click on the Cancel button.
- Under Role, use the drop-down menu to assign the appropriate role to the new participant.
- To continue adding these participants, click Continue.
- Select an e-mail notification option for the new participants:
- If you want to send an e-mail to notify the new participants that the site is available, select the Send Now - send an email now to users notifying them that the site is available radio button.
- If you do not want to send an e-mail notification, select the Don't Send - do not send an email notifying new participants about the site's availability radio button.
- To continue adding these participants, click Continue.
- On the confirmation screen, click Finish.
Notes:
- If you clicked Finish, the new participants are displayed on the Site Editor page.
- Roles can be adjusted on this page by clicking the down arrow under the participant's Role.
