Adding Participants to a Scholar Course

Question:
How do I add a user to a Scholar course?

Answer:
  1. In the left column, click on the Site Editor.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of the page, click Add Participants.
    • To add participants from within Virginia Tech, type each person's PID or e-mail address in the Virginia Tech Participants text box.
    • To add participants who are not from Virginia Tech, type each person's e-mail address in the Non-Virginia Tech Participants text box.
    • Select the Assign all participants to the same role or Assign each participant a role individually radio button.
  3. To add these participants, click Continue.
  4. Assign the appropriate role to new participant(s).
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Select an email notification option for new participants.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. To finish adding new participants, on the confirmation screen, click Finish. The new participant(s) will now be listed on the home page.
