- Start Firefox.
- Navigate to Clear Recent History.
- In the upper-left corner of the window, if you see the button with the word Firefox, and do not see the Firefox toolbar:
- Click the Firefox button.
- From the drop-down list, in the right column, select History.
- Select Clear Recent History....
- If you see the Firefox toolbar, from the Tools drop-down list, select Clear Recent History....
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down list, select Everything.
- To expand the menu, to the left of Details, click the arrow button.
- Clear all check boxes.
- Place a check in the Cache check box.
- Click the Clear Now button.
