To configure automatic dialing:
- Start Outlook.
- View the email account settings.
- In 2003:
- From the Tools drop-down list, select E-mail Accounts....
- Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts radio button.
- Click Next.
- In 2007, from the Tools drop-down list, select Account Settings....
- Select the email account for which you want to set up automatic dialing.
- Click the Change... button.
- Click the More Settings... button.
- Select the Connection tab.
- Under Connection, select the Connect using my phone line radio button.
- Under Modem, from the drop-down list, select the appropriate dial-up connection.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- In 2007, click the Close button.
