Setting Up Automatic Dialing for Email Accounts in Outlook 2003/2007

How do I set up Outlook 2003/2007 so that it dials into a modem pool account when I check my email?

To configure automatic dialing:
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. View the email account settings.
    • In 2003:
      1. From the Tools drop-down list, select E-mail Accounts....
      2. Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts radio button.
      3. Click Next.
    • In 2007, from the Tools drop-down list, select Account Settings....
  3. Select the email account for which you want to set up automatic dialing.
  4. Click the Change... button.
  5. Click the More Settings... button.
  6. Select the Connection tab.
  7. Under Connection, select the Connect using my phone line radio button.
  8. Under Modem, from the drop-down list, select the appropriate dial-up connection.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Click Finish.
  12. In 2007, click the Close button.
