- Start Entourage.
- Add a new Exchange account.
- In Entourage 2004:
- From the Tools drop-down list, select Accounts.
- Select the Exchange tab.
- Click the New icon.
- Click the Configure account manually button.
- In Entourage 2008:
- From the Tools drop-down list, select Accounts....
- Click the New icon.
- Choose to configure the account manually.
- If the Account Setup Assistant window appears, click the Configure Account Manually button.
- If the New Account window appears:
- From the Account type: drop-down list, select Exchange.
- Click OK.
- In the Account name: text box, type: VT Exchange
- In the Name: text box, type your name as you want it to appear on emails you send.
- In the E-mail address: text box, type: [Your Hokies ID]@exchange.vt.edu
Note: Replace [Your Hokies ID] with your Hokies ID.
- In the Account ID: text box, type: HOKIES\[Your Hokies ID]
Note: Replace [Your Hokies ID] with your Hokies ID.
- In the Exchange server: text box, type: weboutlook.vt.edu
- Place a check in the This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) check box.
- Click OK.
- Close the Accounts window.
