If you do not see the class you just tried to add to your class schedule, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the red stop sign with the heading "Registration Errors". You will see a brief explanation of the error in the "Status" column.
Below is a list of common error messages:

| CAMPUS RESTRICTION | The class you want to add is being offered at a different Virginia Tech campus. |
| CLASS RESTRICTION | The class you want to add is restricted by student class level. |
| CLOSED SECTION | The class you want to add is full. Try adding a different section. |
| COLLEGE RESTRICTION | You must check with the college of the class you want to add in order to Force/Add the course. |
| GPA MINIMUM | Your GPA does not meet the minimum requirement for the class you want to add. |
| HOLD ON ACCOUNT | You have one or more holds on your account. Click the appropriate link for information. |
| HOURS MINIMUM | You do not have enough credit hours to meet the class's requirement. |
| MAJOR RESTRICTION | The class you want to add is restricted to students of that major. |
