To verify whether or not your computer belongs to the Hokies Domain, do the following:
- On your desktop, right-click the My Computer icon.
- Select Properties.
- Select the Network Identification tab. If the domain listed contains "w2k.vt.edu", your computer belongs to a domain within Hokies.
Example: If your computer belongs to the AIS domain, your domain will be ais.w2k.vt.edu.
If your computer belongs to a domain within Hokies, use the Active Directory DNS servers. For more information, refer to DNS Addresses (http://www.computing.vt.edu/internet_and_web/internet_access/dns.html).
