How do I create a shortcut to Internet Native Banner on my desktop using Internet Explorer for Windows XP/Vista/7?

Answer:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the Internet Native Banner page (http://www.computing.vt.edu/content/internet-native-banner).
  3. Under Production Internet Native Banner, right-click the link of the instance for which you want to create a shortcut.
  4. Copy the shortcut.
    • In Windows XP/Vista, select Copy Shortcut.
    • In Windows 7, select Copy shortcut.
  5. On your desktop, right-click an empty area.
  6. Paste the shortcut.
    • In XP/Vista, select Paste Shortcut.
    • In 7, select Paste shortcut.
  7. Right-click the shortcut icon.
  8. Select Rename.
  9. Type: Banner INB
  10. Press the Enter key.
