I am receiving hundreds of virus-stripped e-mail messages in Outlook 2003/2007 for Windows. What should I do?
Answer:

If you are receiving e-mail messages that have been flagged by the antivirus scanners, you can filter them to your trash:
  1. From the Tools menu, select Rules and Alerts....
  2. Click the New Rule... button.
  3. Create a filter from a blank rule:
    • In Outlook 2003:
      1. Select the Start from a Blank Rule option.
      2. Under Step 1: Select When Messages Should Be Checked, select Check Messages When They Arrive.
    • In Outlook 2007: Under Step 1: Select a Template, under Start from a Blank Rule, select Check Messages When They Arrive.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Under Step 1: Select Condition(s), place a check in the With Specific Words in the Message Header check box.
  6. Under Step 2: Edit the Rule Description (Click an Underlined Value), click the Specific Words link.
  7. In the Specify a Word or Phrase to Search for in the Message Header: text box, type: X-Mirapoint-Virus
  8. Click the Add button.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Under Step 1: Select Action(s), place a check in the Delete It check box.
  12. Click Finish.
  13. Click OK.
