To configure WebDrive to connect to the Web Hosting service:

1. From the Start menu, select All Programs.
2. Select WebDrive.
3. Click on the New Site button.
4. In the Enter the name for the site you will be connecting to text box, type: Web Hosting.
5. Click Next.
6. From the Server type drop-down list, select Webdav.
7. Click Next.
8. In the Enter the the URL for the Server text box, type: https://webdav.hosting.vt.edu/www.[Your Site Name]
   Note: Replace [Your Site Name] with your site name.
   Example: abcd1234.org.vt.edu

9. Click Next.
10. From the Drive drop-down list, select a drive letter that is not in use on your computer.
11. In the Username: text box, type your PID.
12. In the Password: text box, type your password.
13. Click Next.
14. In the new window, clear the Connect to Site now check box.
15. Click Finish.
16. On the WebDrive screen, click on the Properties... button.
17. From the menu in the left column, double-click on the Cache link.
18. In the Cache Settings: drop-down menu, select Override global settings.
19. From the menu in the left column, under Cache, click on the Options link.
20. Beside Custom, click on the radio button.
21. Clear the Cache Files check box.
    Note: Be sure the Validate cached files with servers modified time and Expire cached files after (x) seconds check boxes contain checks.

22. Clear the Cache Directory Listings check box.
    Note: Be sure the Validate cached directory listing with servers modified time and Expire cached listings after (x) seconds check boxes are checked.

23. In the Expire cached listings after (X) seconds text box, type: 3
24. In the Expire cached files after (X) seconds text box, type: 3
25. Click OK.
26. If you have a permanent Internet connection, such as Ethernet, DSL, or cable modem and you want WebDrive to automaticaly connect at Login/Startup, place a check in the Connect At Login/Startup check box.
27. Clear the Anonymous/Public Logon check box.
28. Clear the Save Password check box.
29. Click the Connect button.

Files and folders function in the same manner in WebDrive as they do on your hard drive. To upload or download files and folders to or from your site, drag them from one folder to another.
