  1. Connect to your NAS space. For instructions, refer to the appropriate article below:
  2. From the Start menu, select Search, and then select For Files and Folders.
  3. In the Search for Files and Folders Named text box, type the name of the file you want to locate.
  4. In the Look In text box, type: storage.vt.edu[Your mystore location]~snapshot

    Notes:

  5. Click the Search Now button.
  6. If prompted:
    1. In the User Name text box, type: hokies[Your Hokies ID]

      Note: Replace [Your Hokies ID] with your Hokies ID.

    2. In the Password text box, type your Hokies password.
  7. Use the Modified field to determine which version of the file you want to recover.
  8. Drag the file to the appropriate place on your computer.
