Question:

I just set up an alias. Anyone who tries to send email to my alias gets an "Illegal recipient" error. Why will it not work?

Answer:

An "Illegal recipient" error message means that your new alias is not active yet. After you create your new alias, wait a full 10 minutes before you attempt to use it.
