To perform a Windows Update in Windows XP:
- Click the Start button.
- Select All Programs.
- Select Windows Update.
- Click the Install button.
- If available, click the Update Windows button.
- Click the Express button.
- Click the Install Updates button.
Note: If the Install Updates button is grayed out, there are no new updates to install.
- After the updates are installed, click the Restart Now button.
