To change the default font:
- Start Word.
- Navigate to the Font dialog box.
- In Word 2003, from the Format drop-down list, select Font....
- In Word 2007/2010/2013:
- Select the Home tab.
- To the right of the Font group heading, click the Font button.
- Use the appropriate list boxes to set the Font:, Font style:, and Size: you want as default.
- Set the selected font as default.
- In 2003/2007, click the Default... button.
- In 2010/2013, click the Set As Default button.
- Confirm the change.
- In 2003/2007, click the Yes button.
- In 2010/2013:
- Select the All documents based on the Normal template? radio button.
- Click OK.
