- Start Internet Explorer.
- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Select the General tab.
- In Internet Explorer 6:
- Click Delete Files button.
- Click OK.
- In Internet Explorer 7:
- Under Browsing history, click Delete...
- Click Delete All.
- In the box asking for confirmation, click Yes.
- Click Close.
- In the Internet Options window, click OK.
- Restart your computer.
