To display or hide your default desktop icons:
Right-click on your desktop, and select
Properties
.
Select the
Desktop
tab.
Click the
Customize Desktop
button.
Place a check in or clear each icon check box.
Click
OK
.
In the
Display Properties
window, click
OK
.
